May 17 Ridge Run 10-Miler 9am
Point-to-point race – from Carson to Stevenson this year!
The Columbia Gorge Running Club invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to take on the 10-mile Ridge Run. This point-to-point race goes up and over the scenic ridge between the towns of Carson and Stevenson, WA. It’s a stout climb in both directions – so much so that Backwoods Brewing (in Carson) named a delicious oatmeal stout after this event.
Where:
The 2025 event starts at the Wind River Middle School in Carson and ends at the Skamania County Fairgrounds in Stevenson. Course map. This is a point-to-point race, so you can either park at the fairgrounds in Stevenson and carpool to the start in Carson, or find a ride back to the start after finishing. There is not a shuttle to the start (or finish), so you will need to coordinate your own ride. It is highly recommended that you meet at the fairgrounds in Stevenson at 8am and carpool from there to the start.
Carpool details:
If you want to catch a ride to the start, meet in the gravel lot by the footbridge leading to the fairgrounds where the Dog Mountain Shuttle picks up hikers at 8am. It takes at least 15 minutes to drive from there to the start point in Carson.
Race bib pick-up will be in the gym at the middle school – be sure to be checked in before the race starts at 9am. If you bring a labeled bag, we can shuttle it to the finish for you.

$25 (increases to $35 starting May 12)
