2/13/10 Stan Holman ran in the USA T&F Cross Country Nationals in Spokane, WA. He ran 8000 meters in 29:12, and the team he was on took 1st place in the 40 year old age group.
2/20/10 was the Hagg Lake 50K Trail Run. Bob Lynes ran it in 7:00:10, and Lori Latendresse ran 7:24:55. Great job!
April 11, 2010 was the Peterson Ridge Rumble 60K/30K. In the 60K Allan Dushan finished 46th in 5:56:44, and Lori Latendresse was 109th in 7:53:40. In the 30K Anna Bates was 144th in 4:12:08, and Bob Lynes was 150th in 4:16:38.
4 CGRC Members ran in the Wenatchee Marathon, and 2 ran in the Wenatchee 1/2 Marathon on 4/17/10.
Stan Holman finished the Marathon in 3:00:54, Gary Daubenspeck ran 4:03:30, Esther Holman ran 4:42:43, and Amy Lynes finished sub 6. Sophie Miller ran the 1/2 Marathon with hubby Chad in 2:16:29.

At the Cinco De Mayo 1/2 Marathon in Portland on 5/2/10, Four members ran. Ivan Hooper ran 1:40:26, Lucus Lembrick 1:47:17, Bryan Mears 2:07:13, and Roger Lembrick 2:37:32.
Claudia Holman participated in the 34th running of Spokane's Lilac Bloomsday 12K with a time of 2:04:20
Word is... Jim Brashers ran 3:49:37 at the Eugene Marathon 5/2/10.

The 2010 McDonald Forest 50K happened May 8th. Anna Bates completed the hilly trail run in 120th place, with a time of 6:35:52, Allan Dushan ran 136th place in 6:43:03, Lori Latendresse ran 145th place in 6:53:49, and Bob Lynes was 172nd in 7:21:07. Great job!
The Tri-Co High School league Track meet was 5/14/10 @ Stevenson H.S.
CGRC members that participated were Miles Holman 800meters 2:25, 4X100 Relay 52.28, Long Jump 16.00', and Mariah Holman Triple Jump 28.04', and Brad Rich 1600 meters 4:57 advances to Districts, 3200 meters 11:21 advances to Districts, and Corey Rich 1600 meters 5:27. Here are some photos!

4 CGRC member ran in the Timberline Marathon June 5th. Esther Holman ran 4:52:29, Lori Latendresse ran 5:07:51, Bryan Mears ran 5:20:10, and Amy Lynes ran 7:51:00.
On June 5th 3 CGRC members did an adventure run in the Grand Canyon. Bob Lynes, Anna Bates, & Stan Holman were joined by Anna's sister Erin for an 18 hour day on a Lollipop Loop that usually takes hikers 6 days to complete.
June 6th Jim Brashers ran in the North Olympic Discovery Marathon with a time of 4:40:02, and Kelly Brashers did the 1/2 marathon in 2:10:03, along with her mother Kathy who finished in 2:29:31.
Gary Daubenspeck had a big PR at the Foot Traffic Full Marathon on July 4th. He ran 24th place in 3:12:25. And a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. Woohoo!
Lucas Lembrick ran the San Francisco Marathon in a fine time of 3:54:13.
On July 30th - through August 1st some club members ran/hiked 93 miles on the Wonderland Trail that encircles Mt. Rainier. Here is a link to photo's Stan took on this most awesome adventure.
Kelly Brashers got 3rd in her age group and Jan Frasier got a PR in the All Womens triathlon at Blue lake July 31st!

Four club members took part in 12 hours of 1.5 mile loops around Capitol lake in Olympia. Stan did 62 miles, Esther 48 miles, Bob 42 miles, Amy 33 miles, in record temps (97)

The PCT Bunker to Bonneville 50K was a blast for everyone involved. It couldn't have

On August 11th, CGRC members, Frank Gray and Lynn Longan ran in the McKenzie River 50K with very good performances. Frank ran a personal best 5:13, and Lynn ran 6:30.
Anna Bates just finished the Wasatch Front 100 mile Endurance Run. This gruelling event climbs more than 26,000' and is at elevations just below 10,000'. She finished 125th place, 9th female with a time of 33 hours 31 min. She looks tired!
On Sept. 25th Roger Lembrick ran in the "Run for Honor 5K" in Lincoln City 17th overall, 1st in age
group with a time of 31:28

4 CGRC members participated in the Portland Marathon on 10/10/10. Finishing
with a big P.R. Gary Daubenspeck ran 2:59:50 for 96th place. Rick Jones ran 3:50:00
for 1393rd place, Lynda Esaacson ran 5:40:35 for 5955th place, and Amy Lynes did
6:39:17 for 6924th place. There were 7434 participants in the Marathon, and about
15,000 total for all events that took place in the rain drenched Portland.
Boston Marathon opened up registration yesterday, and filled up 26,800 spots in
just 8 hours. Both Gary Daubenspeck, and Rick Jones were fortunate enough to
qualify, and get their registration in before the race filled up. Good luck you guys!
Saturday the 23rd of Oct. Madeleine Sellers ran in the USA Masters 5K Cross Country
Championships held at the Vancouver Barracks. She took 11th place in her age group
with an outstanding time of 22:00. Great job, Madeleine!
On 10/23/10 4 CGRC members were participants in the Javelina Jundred. This
is a 101.4 mile endurance race in the desert outside Fountain Hills, AZ. Stan Holman
finished 7th with a new (PR) time of 19:36:18. Bob Lynes finished his 2nd 100 this year
in 137th place with a time of 29:50:33. There were 263 participants who started and
there is a "Wimpout 100K option" which is far from wimping out. And a 30 hour limit.
Esther Holman attempted her first 100, and would have made it if she didn't have a
back leaning issue for nearly 40 miles. She finally called it quits at mile 97. Amy Lynes
completed the 100K 3.5 hours faster than she did last year in 23:00:02. All of these
participants could not have accomplished what they did without the great support by
Gary Daubenspeck, Steve Petersen, Sandy Lynes, Michael McCarthy, Chris Morlan, and

On Sunday Oct. 24th the Columbia Gorge Marathon, and 1/2 Marathon happened. CGRC
members in the marathon were Louis Galatz 9th place in 3:17:11, Lynn Longan 4:37:07,
Bryan Mears 4:45:28, and Nicole Chaffin finishing her 1st marathon in 5:23:14. In the 1/2
Marathon were Alisha Cannon 3:38:04, and Lori Cannon in 3:38:05. Super job everyone!
Gary Daubenspeck ran in the Autumn Leaves 50 mile run at Champoeg State Park south
of Portland Sat. Oct. 30. He placed 6th place male, and completed it in 7:23:38. That is plenty
quick enough to be qualified to enter most 100 milers. (Western States 100 Hmm!)
10/30/10 was the High School 1A District 4 Cross Country Championships. 2 CGRC members
Brad & Cory Rich participated with their teammates from Columbia High School (White Salmon) They ran 5000 meters. Brad in 13th place in 17:57, and Cory in 42nd place in 19:16. Brad advances to the State Meet Nov. 6th. On another note the girls team from Columbia HS qualified for the State meet also. Congrats to all of these fine young athletes!
The 4th Annual Pumpkin run finished just before the rains set back in. Once again we had record numbers for this event that was put together by Claudia Holman & Claudia Robinson. Noteworthy accomplishment: CGRC member Louis Galatz celebrated his 20th year of running without missing a day on friday 11/5/10. That is amazing!
Saturday 11/6/10 was the Washington State High School Cross Country meet
at Willows Golf Course in Pasco. Brad Rich ran in the Boys 1A race and placed
53rd with a time of 17:38 for 5000 meters. The Girls Team for White Salmon
High School placed 14th for the 1A girls event. Great job!

The 5th annual Turkey Trot was another huge success. Many

113 official finishers! Collected 350 lbs. of food and $305 to
benefit the Skamania County Food Bank. Thanks everyone!

After our Turkey Trot, the Mosier Twin Tunnel Turkey Trot was
taking place in Hood River. As many as 100-120 participants took
part in either a 5K, or 12K. Some folks ran our race, and this one.
Club member Kyle Chaffin was running the 12K when he slipped
and broke his leg. Kyle we hope you are doing better!
Thanks to everyone who made it to the end of the year Potluck .
